The Israel-Gaza War has taken an unprecedented toll on the journalists of Palestine since October 2023.
As the Press Freedom and humanitarian crisis in Gaza deepens, MEAA has launched a new fundraising appeal as part of an international effort to support Palestinian journalists, through the Media Safety & Solidarity Fund.
Your donations will provide shelter, food and clothing for journalists and their families, along with safety equipment for journalists.
Previous appeals through the MSSF raised over $30,000 from individual donations for basic food provisions and hygiene kits which were distributed by the Palestinian Journalists Syndicate, the official affiliate of the International Federation of Journalists. This fundraiser may be distributed by the PJS or go directly to journalists that MEAA is in contact with.
With the conflict escalating and the humanitarian tragedy set to worsen, we are asking you to dig deep to help the journalists of Gaza.
